남준이가 이번에 부산 시립 미술관에서 열린 '한국 현대 작가 조명Ⅲ, 김종학' 전시에 갔는데요, 이에 대해 부산 미술관에서 올린 방문 후기가 있어 번역했습니다. 한국 현대 미술 작가들을 제가 좋아하기도 하고 또 외국 아미 분들은 많이 모르시는 것 같아 올렸는데요, 우리 모두 준이 말처럼 힘든 시기 잘 견뎌내 봅시다. 다들 아프지 마시고 힘내세요!
RM visited the exhibiton at Busan Museum of Art, and the museum wrote some comments for his visit. (Busan is Jimin and JK`s hometown.) There are lots of great Korean contemporary artists and Kim Chong Hak is one of them. You can see some works on the museum`s homepage and Instagram account. Be safe and strong, always.

Busan Museum of Art and Artist #KimChongHak waited for visitors for a long time because of COVID, though it opened in March. After the news of the reopening of the Art Museum spread, BTS RM visited the museum to cheer for Kim Chong Hak`s exhibition. RM, who is deeply interested in the world of the artist`s artwork all the time, kept being amazed as he watched the exhibition. When he saw the displayed 1973 São Paulo Biennale leaflet, he recognized that it was an international exhibition presented by the artist Kim Hwan Ki. Also we could see him recalling Park Seo Bo when he saw Kim Chong Hak’s Informel work on the Korean Abstract Art movement in the 1960s. From RM`s understanding of Kim Chong Hak`s art-historical walk of life, we could feel his mind deeply understanding and loving Korean Art. Especially, he couldn`t leave for some time in front of ‘Winter Series’ which shows the essence of Kim Chong Hak`s world of artwork, and his new large-scale work which presents the chaotic feast of nature.
We`d like to give our expressions of gratitude sincerely, to RM who shared his warm heart, saying “Let`s overcome this hard time well together with ’Gi-un-saeng-dong’(氣韻生動/cheerfulness and vividness).” Thank you for listening to the 60-year artistic world which the artist who has passed the age of 80 slogged through. After the reopening of the museum, it is reviving as it used to as many visitors are coming.
