Title:  'ANGEL' BTS JIMIN replaced desks and chairs of his juniors

'BTS' Jimin's special love for his alma mater

Jimin's good deeds for Busan High School of Art was belatedly made public / Last year, he donated 100 million won to the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education.

It was belatedly revealed that JIMIN (Park Jimin) of the global group BTS replaced the desks and chairs of his alma mater, Busan High School of Art.

According to the word from the person concerned on 9th, Jimin replaced desks and chairs of 400 third-formers at Busan High School of Art. Jimin quietly did the good deed during this winter vacation in the wish that this fact will not be known to students. Along with the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, Busan High School of Art will also change desks and chairs of all underclassmen sequentially.

Jimin entered the dance department of Busan High School of Art in 2011 at the top of his class and was considered to be the talented person with his exceptional ability. Although he came to Seoul before finishing the first semester of his second year, he was so attached to his alma mater. Just as before, he seems to have expressed his love for his juniors circuitously this time.

This is not the first time for Jimin to show his love for his juniors as a senior. Last year, he donated 100 million won to the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, to spend it for low-income students in Busan area. At the last graduation ceremony of Hoedong Elementary School in Busan, which is closed now, he handed out autographed BTS CDs to whole 60 students and supported money for middle school uniforms to 10 graduates. Like this, he has extended his friendly helps to his juniors continuously.

Members of ARMY(Fan club of BTS) and his personal fan clubs, knowing that Jimin has a special interest in his hometown Busan including his alma mater, have also joined his good deeds. Jimin’s fan club 'Invictus' donated 10 million won as scholarships to Busan High School of Art, through the Busan Regional Headquarters of ChildFund Korea(its korean name is Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation) last month. The foundation held a delivery ceremony on 31st, January and gave it to the school. The school will grant scholarships to underprivileged students among students who major in dance, music or art, just as the donors wish. Also, fans proceeded a 'blood donation relay project' to commemorate Jimin’s birthday on October 13 last year.(annofation: myloverjimin's project)

Meanwhile, the U.S. weekly magazine 'Times', 'The Guardian' of the United Kingdom and many other presses are showing their appreciation as BTS is working on 'CONNECT, BTS', a global modern art exhibition project that captures their philosophy and messages in the partnership with 22 world-wide modern artists. The current issue of Times said "BTS' Latest Power Move Is Connecting People Through Major Works of Public Art" and assessed that "it’s a reminder that musical artists with mass appeal don’t have to sacrifice subtlety for popularity." The Guardian reported about this project quoting Antony Gormley(the sculptor from the United Kingdom who collaborated with BTS)'s comments "these young guys come along with their millions of followers and offer a bridge for a whole new kind of audience how could you refuse that?” BTS will make a comeback with its fourth full-length album "MAP OF THE SOUL:7" on 21st.
