According to the analysis of big data for Idol individual brand reputation in February 2020, Jimin took the top spot in the Idol individual brand reputation.
Korean Corporate Reputation Research extracted 193,797,003 Big Data about 1,135 idols'(including boys and girls) individual brands from Jan. 22, 2020 to Feb. 23, 2020 to analyze the idol individual brand reputation. Then they measured consumers' participation index, media index, communication index and community index from the Big Data and analyzed brand reputation index for the top 100 idol individual brands. Compared to 235,389,718 Brand Big Data in January 2020, the number of Big Data decreased 17.67 percent.
The brand reputation index is an indicator created through brand big data analysis. The research lab started the analysis after they found out that consumers' online habits have a huge impact on brand consumption.
Through analysis of the top 100 brand reputation of idol individuals, the lab could analyze the positive-negative evaluation, the media attention and the amount of interest and communication among consumers about the top 100 brand reputation of idol individuals. This research also included the results of monitorings by 100 editors of idol brand reputation.
BTS Jimin took the top place in this research. His brand was analyzed to have a brand reputation index of 9,742,834, which consisted of the participation index of 1,140,196, the media index of 2,026,381, the communication index of 3,002,775 and the community index of 3,573,482. Compared to its brand reputation index of 10,998,688 in January 2020, it decreased 11.42 percent.
BTS V placed 3rd in this research. His brand was analyzed to have a brand reputation index of 5,149,473, which consisted of the participation index of 956,536, the media index of 1,982,678, the communication index of 1,101,908 and the community index of 1,108,352. Compared to its brand reputation index of 6,559,511 in January 2020, it decreased 21.50 percent.
BTS JungKook placed 4th in this research. His brand was analyzed to have a brand reputation index of 4,680,677, which consisted of the participation index of 649,731, the media index of 1,579,150, the communication index of 1,162,326 and the community index of 1,289,470. Compared to its brand reputation index of 4,956,722 in January 2020, it decreased 5.57 percent.
Koo Chang-hwan, the chief of the lab said "In February 2020, BTS Jimin's brand took the 1st place in the list of the top 100 brands for idol individuals. Analysis of brand big data showed 17.67% decrease compared to 235,389,718 brand big data in January 2020."
He also said "According to the detailed analysis, brand consumption index showed a 36.53 percent decrease, brand issues index showed a 14.62 percent decrease, brand communications index showed a 15.29 percent decrease and brand proliferation showed a 12.20 percent decrease.
In its link analysis, "cool, love and obsess" showed mostly. And in its keyword analysis, "Comeback, Youtube and ARMY" showed most. In the positive-negative research, the positive ratio recorded 88.60 percent."

This research was done through the analysis of idol brand reputation Big data and the brand reputation monitor from Jan.22, 2020 to Feb. 23, 2020.
